Who We Treat >>

At NPRS, our expertise lies in our ability to help people with brain injuries and their loved ones. We assist in rebuilding lives and addressing the varied cognitive and emotional difficulties that result from the brain injury. Brain injuries can result from a number of different events or causes which can include:

  • A blow to the head such as one that might occur in a car accident, sports injury, fall, or other physical event that damages the brain
  • Medical events: such as a stroke, brain tumor, lack of oxygen to the brain, poisoning that effects the brain, concussions

Often people recover from these events with no noticeable consequences. Sometimes, in the case of a severe injury, it’s obvious that a person will need special cognitive rehabilitation. In other cases cognitive and related problems might not be evident until a person tries to return to work or school.

If any of these problems are similar to what you are experiencing please contact us. We’ll be happy to talk with you.

  • The ability to attend treatment regularly (mandatory)
  • A willingness to participate, work hard and learn
  • A desire to get better
  • The capacity to change
  • An openness to listen to trusted others

The combination of these characteristics and our expertise will result in improvements that will help you feel competent in what you do, and better about yourself.
